Join your fellow Scripps Oceanography alumni for a guided tour

through the La Jolla tidepools!

We're bringing an alumni reunion back to the water!

Catch up with former colleagues, make new connections,

enjoy the outdoors, and rekindle your curiosity for the ocean.

 

Expert naturalist and trained marine biologist Cypress Hansen

will guide our group through the different layers of the intertidal zone with fun stories, fascinating science, and unique observations. 

 

This tour is 90 minutes, and open to SIO alumni and their families.

The minimum age limit is five years old.

 

We'll cover uneven, sometimes slippery terrain, so closed-toe shoes are required, and general fitness and good balance are ideal.

Bring layers, sun protection, and a curious mind!
